Hulk Hogan recently told CTV News that a battery pack in his back can make his nipples and "wiener" stand up. Here's the full quote.

"It's an electric stim you know? If the pain in my back is too bad and it goes to my head, there's an electrical current that I can turn on that will cancel out any pain waves; it pretty much makes you so you don't feel the pain. It's not a drug, it's just electricity. I've got like a garage door controller with all these buttons on how intense I want to make it, my nipples stand on end if I want to! And my wiener stands straight. It's much better than Viagra!"

Title unification match to take place 2/4 in Orlando, FL

An interesting match has been made for February 4 in Orlando, FL at a show being held after the Zero1 training camp. Larry Zbyszko, who never lost the AWA World Heavyweight title will be putting up his belt against The Almighty Sheik, who will be putting up the NWA World Heavyweight title he never lost. Both men claim to be the "real" World Heavyweight Champion and they have agreed to unify their titles to create one real world champion and someone will be walking out with both the NWA and AWA world title belts. Larry still has his original title belt and The Sheik still has the NWA title belt. The NWA has been using a $200 replica belt since stripping the Sheik. The show is being held at the Team Vision Dojo, as is the Zero1 camp. More information is available at ibelieveinwrestling.com.

Comparisons with WCW and TNA: "They're similar, one of the things is that it's a slower burn here because when Eric Bishoff and I came in, the original thought process was if we had a great idea like putting AJ Styles and Ric Flair together or putting the belt on Robert Roode we could move like WCW, we thought things would happen a lot quicker.

"Once we got here, and no disrespect intended, there is a chain of command. There is a check and balance system so instead of the company getting hot-shotted with a great Hulk Hogan idea, the check and balance system is in place to make sure everything moves along at the right pace and that we don't do something too big, too fast that we may not be able to follow up with.

"There are a lot of safety precautions in place and now that I've learned the system, I'm trying to work through it gracefully, but still be pushy because I want things to happen fast."

Similarities and differences between Dixie Carter and Vince McMahon: "When I worked with Vince McMahon, it was more of an outlaw situation at the time. I would call Vince up at 4 o'clock in the morning saying 'I've got to drop the belt to Macho Man because that's what I feel' and Vince would go 'okay.'

"Basically for the first twelve years it was me and Vince McMahon running the WWF. I lived in Stamford, Connecticut, just a couple of blocks away from Vince's house and we worked out every day together and we rode motorcycles everyday together and we were together everyday and made all the decisions.

"With TNA if I say I want to drop the belt tomorrow, everyone will say it's a great idea but maybe it will happen or maybe it won't, or maybe it'll happen in six months, so that's the difference.

"But things aren't like what they use to be. It's a new era and a new age and I don't have the luxury of lacing the boots up and doing it myself and that's what I'm used to, doing it myself, but I'm getting used to taking a back seat a little bit."

Did you know - WWE's David Otunga is a lawyer

WWE superstar David Otunga took a break from his full time wrestling gig to return to his previous career -- attorney-at-law -- and much like his "Monday Night Raw" matches ... crushed the competition.

TMZ found out Otunga returned to court Thursday morning to represent a man who believes he was wrongfully terminated and denied unemployment benefits. Otunga tells us he was repping the man in his appeal to the NY State Department of Labor.

The proceedings took place before an administrative judge who heard witness testimony and arguments from both sides.

Otunga -- who graduated from Harvard Law School before wrestling -- told us he "smoked the witness during cross examination." The judge agreed ... Otunga's client won the appeal and will now get unemployment benefits.

Otunga says he enjoys keeping his legal skills sharp, and adds ... "If the outcome of the case is any indication of how I'll do in the Royal Rumble this weekend, then it looks like I'll be the winner."

By the way, Otunga didn't do it for the cash -- he took the case, pro bono.

Reports have it Bender is looking to, above all else, “show Castle how it’s done”. The second edition of the Jimmy Blaylock show was taped Saturday night. I will say no more about it since it has already been posted here at Wrestling News Center.

"Dangerous" David Cox w/Hollywood defeated Cassanova Kid.

Buzz Harley & Chazz Stone defeated The PHAT Foundation (Chris Fontaine & "The Trainee").

Hollywood Jimmy, JR Mauler, & Kross came out of the back, along with Raja. Hollywood inducted Raja into the EPW Hall of Fame.

Bonecrusher w/Smooth defeated Raja w/Hollywood.

24/7 (Kross & JR Mauler) vs. "Dangerous" Doug Gilbert & Bill "Superstar" Dundee ended up being a wild brawl, which ended up in the concession stand. They tore the concession stand up before 24/7 finally managed to crawl over the counter and escape. Gilbert & Dundee then challenged 24/7 to a fan's lumberjack strap match in the near future as soon as schedules will permit. Promoter Edith Poole said the match will take place. We will announce the date for the match as soon as arrangements are finalized.

Next EPW event in THIS Saturday night, 1/28/2012, at the EPW Arena on Highway 145 in Booneville, MS. Bell time is 8:00 p.m.

Update on Flair/WWE/TNA

It was reported a few weeks back that Ric Flair and the TNA crew watched the Four Horsemen WWE Hall of Fame vignette on RAW backstage at the Impact Wrestling tapings that night.

Triple H actually called Flair that day to tell him about the Horsemen induction but the TNA tapings were already over by the time the video aired on RAW. Flair was at a bar with some of the TNA crew watching the LSU vs. Alabama game when John Laurinaitis texted him to tell him when it would be airing. Flair was in tears as he watched the video with his co-workers. Flair was telling people how happy he was for the other Horsemen and vowed to be in attendance but noted that he knew he would hear something from TNA management about it.

Hogan back in the ring

Hulk Hogan competed in his first match since October at Impact Wrestling's "2012 Maximum Impact IV" Tour event in Nottingham, England Thursday. After the main event match of Bobby Roode and James Storm ended in disqualification, a six-man tag team match was set up with Hogan, Storm and Sting vs. Roode, Bully Ray and Kurt Angle. Hogan took no bumps and the opposition sold his offense. Hogan hit the Big boot on Roode, which was followed by Storm nailing Roode with the Atomic Leg Drop for the pin fall victory.

Yes you read it right, I will be at the Arkansas State Athletic Commission Quarterly Meeting on Feburary 9th in Little Rock. I will be reporting LIVE via twitter on meeting minutes and the agenda on my twitter feed @tbone_terrence. This meeting will be open to the public and it's anticipated to draw a large crowd, mostly of Indy workers from all over the State.

If you are making plans to go The meeting starts at 11:00 AM on February 09 2012, at the Dee Brown Public Library, located at 6325 Baseline Rd. Little Rock Ar. 72209, telephone number of library 501 568-7494. This meeting is no different than a city council or town hall meeting, you must be put on the agenda in order to address the Commission.

I will have a full report published within the week if not same day as the meeting, with a few comments from the editor included. For those who are not aware of the situatiom regarding independent wrestling in Arkansas, here is a brief synopsis from the Examiner.com:

Wrestling News from the State of Ohio

On January 29th, Absolute Intense Wrestling presents their 5th edition of GIRLS NIGHT OUT @ Puritas Lutheran Church, 13812 Bellaire Rd, Cleveland, OH. Note this event will take place at a special 4pm belltime. We have quite the loaded lineup in store for Girls Night Out 5, including the following matches:

AIW Womens Title Match- Mickie Knuckles(c) vs. Sara Del Ray: This will not be the first time these two females have faced off with each other in the squared circle. Back in the summer of 2008, these two went toe to toe in the ring, however, a winner was never officially declared as during the match, Mickie suffered a serious leg injury, putting her out of action for many months. Now over 3 years later, these two great female athletes will finally have the one on one encounter they wanted to have a long time ago, to finally see which of the two is the better womens wrestler, and this time the AIW Womens Championship is on the line. Who will walk out the champion? Will it be the "Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Ray, or will it be one of the toughest female competitors in all of wrestling, Mickie Knuckles.

Angel Dust vs. Gabby Gilbert: AIW has not seen Angel Dust or Gabby Gilbert since the last Girls Night Out event. Angel Dust lost to Jessica Havok in a brutal first blood match, failing to recapture the Womens Title she once held. Last we saw of her, Gabby, going under the name Roxie Cotton, claimed she was retiring from professional wrestling following her match against Portia Perez. However after the match, Roxie viciously attacked Perez, and claimed she is done being the fun and loving Roxie Cotton, and now will be known as a much more serious Gabby Gilbert. Both ladies are on a new path in their AIW careers, and have something to prove at Girls Night Out 5. Will Angel Dust pick up her first win on her path to become the AIW Womens Champion once again, or will Gabby Gilbert prove she should be taken more seriously in the ring and defeat a former AIW Womens Champion in Angel Dust?

Cherry Bomb vs. Allysin Kay: Cherry Bomb has made quite the impression on AIW officials and fans alike since debuting back at Girls Night Out 4, defeating Veda Scott that night. Following that, she went up against Hailey Hatred at They Live, where even though she came up short winning the contest, put up a great fight against the former AIW Womens Champion. Allysin Kay has been with AIW since 2010, though unfortunately not picking up many wins in her matches. Since then, Kay has joined up with Flexor Industires, and no doubt will Chest Flexor be at ringside during the match, which could be a factor in deciding who wins the match. Which female competitor will get the win here, and perhaps continue their path of going after the AIW Womens Championship.

Marti Belle vs. Mia Yim: Both female competitors have made only 1 appearance in AIW thus far, and now both return at Girls Night Out 5 facing each other inside the ring. Marti Belle made her last appearance at Youth Gone Wild in July of 2010, picking up a win against Tina San Antonio in an Absolute Opportunity match. Last we saw of Mia Yim, she came up on the short end on capturing the AIW womens title against Mickie Knuckles, but none the less put on a great showing in the ring. Both are looking to get a win here, in order to gain future bookings and more opportunities in AIW.

Also in action: Veda Scott, Kimber Lee and many more.

Before Girls Night Out 5 takes place, AIW will present the 3rd edition of the Guys Night Out preshow, which will include the following matches:

A report from the Adult Video News Awards in Las Vegas last week has Chyna acting like "a train wreck." A source at the event claims that Chyna, who was booked to sign autographs and pose for pictures, was incoherent and displayed strange gestures and expressions as if she was under the influence of drugs or alchol.

According to the report, "Chyna also appeared on the red carpet before the event and posed for cameras with an unsettling glazed-over look in her eyes." This comes on the heels of numerous rambling tweets about Vince McMahon and WWE over the weekend. Many people are worried she's fallen off the wagon again.

Big night of action started off with N.R.G coming to the ring sporting there brand new N.R.G shirts. There was one less member of the group, "Superman" Jason Reed whom failed to show up. This did not sit well with "Mr. Everything" Anton Leveigh. Anton said he was sick and tired of Jason making N.R.G look bad. The Brain took the mic from there and told the people how disgusted he was at Mad Money Mike and Mark Justice for there actions towards Lollipop and himself last week. About that time, Mad Money Mike's music hit and he came out to a wild reaction. Mike said he wasn't done making N.R.G disgusted and Mark & Sarge were gonna send The Brain's Arkansas boy back home crying. As N.R.G enjoyed a good laugh The Brain left by telling Mike that he had a huge surprise for him tonight in the Main Event.

1st match saw TJ O'Riley with Lollipop & Jason"The Brain" to go one on one with Erik Hayes
The match was back and forth with great offence from both men. In the end TJ hit a pedigree and The Brain held TJ's feet on the ropes to help O'Riley get the win.
Winner: TJ O'Riley

2nd Match contested The Kid vs The 4 time Arkansas Olympic heavyweight gold medalist, Loose Cannon with Jason "The Brain"
Cannon used his size and strength to dominate The Kid, until Cannon got a little over confident. Kid hit a few lightning quick kicks that took Cannon down. Kid ran up to the top, but missed a cross body that may have given him the victory if connected .Cannon took advantage of Kids's mistake and hit a spinebuster that almost drove Kid under the ring as the newly crowned Mr. Olympia picked up the win.
Winner: Loose Cannon

The 3rd Contest was a Grudge match as Kyatia took on "Mr.Everything" Anton Leveigh/Lollipop &Jason "The Brain"
Before the match began, Big Dave informed NRG that any member can defend ANY title in ANY match. Therefore a Heavyweight Title Match took place.
The match started off at a fast pace from start to finish. Anton hit a big RKO/Cutter and pinned the big man, but Kyatia kicked out. This put The Brain into disbelief as he sent Lollipop over to get the referee's attention. The Brain tossed a chair to Anton which he almost decapitated the masked man as the ref turned around. Anton made the cover and got the win. After the bell, Anton put the boots to Kyatia until The Swag Boyz made the save.
Winner: Anton Leveigh

4th Contest featured Joe Bourne vs OZ with his horse Ding-a-Ling
OZ has been playing mind games with Joe for weeks and they continued tonight. During the match, OZ laid a big wet one right on his cowboy crush. This act brought Bourne to a whole other level of PISSED off. Joe was just about to finish OZ off when the sneaky bi-curious warrior shoved Bourne into the referee. As Joe checked on the ref, Oz picked up his Ding-a-Ling and nailed Bourne in the throat. Oz quickly covered The Cowboy and got the win.
Winner: OZ

Match 5 was a Dream tag match as The Swag Boyz took on Chris Rocker & Derrick King.
The most improved tag team of 2011, The Swag Boyz, was in for a real challenge with these two ring veterans. As Chris and Derrick's Music played, the crowd at FTW erupted. Chants for Derrick rang through the arena until DK grabbed the mic and totally downed the people at FTW, who were just screaming for him. This did not sit to well with Biscuit and Weezy as they started taking it to the vets.The match was everything that we thought it would be with these four. AWESOME! At one point, Biscuit leaped to the rafters to do a leg drop, but was caught by a spear courtesy of Chris Rocker. In the end, DK nailed Weezy with a superkick. NEAR FALL! as Weezy got his shoulder up at the last second. As DK got up and jumped in the refs face, Weezy made it to his feet and rolled Derrick up for the big victory. After the match, DK & Rocker called young Referee, Cordale in the ring. DK asked if he knew who he was? Cordale then responded, "I don't care who you are!!" Before another word was said, DK nailed Cordale with the mic and Rocker started beating the ref down. The crowd was about to become a riot zone as some of the fans jumped the rail and tried to get to the wrestlers. All of a sudden, Big Red hit the ring to stop the two. Rocker got the mic and said it was a matter of respect and the ref needed to learn it. Rocker grabbed Cordale as DK went for a superkick as Red grabbed him and lifted him for a chokeslam. Rocker then hit Red and started beating him down untill the Swag Boyz , Erik Hayes, The Kid and several others ran the two super villains off.
Wiinners: The Swag Boyz

Match 6 was a rematch from last week for the I.I.H.C Heavyweight title.
Houston(C) vs The Xtreme Ricky Andrews/Lollipop & Jason"The Brain"
Before the match even started, Houston called out someone to be in his corner and out came The 2011 Women's Wrestler of the year, LiL BiT. The match started hot and heavy with reversals after reversals; moves after moves. As soon as you think Houston had the advantage, Ricky turned the tide. As soon as Ricky had the advantage, Houston turned the tide back his way. Ricky shot Houston into the ropes and both men clotheslined each other down to the mat. As the referee checked on Houston, "The Brain" tossed a chain to Ricky. Both men made it back to their feet. The Xtreme one blasted Houston with the chain and made the cover but some how the champ kicked out. Ricky was in disbelief! He went to the top rope to finish Houston off and take the title back to N.R.G. As Ricky leaped off, Houston caught the challenger with a bicycle kick for the big win. After the match, N.R.G hit the ring and took it to the champion. They ripped his shirt off and spray painted N.R.G across his back. Joe Bourne came to his friends aid and cleared the ring.
Winner: The I.I.H.C Champion, Houston

The Main Event had Sarge O'Riley & Mark Justice/Mad Money Mike to take on The Natural Born Killers (Morgan Williams & Big Al) With Jason"The Brain" who came out in full boxing gear.
The match began with a fitness challenge between Morgan and Mark where in the end mark was the winner. The NBK used fast tags and not tagging at all to keep the advantage for most of the match. On the outside, MMM and "The Brain" were talking trash back and forth. Near the end, Sarge and Al went to battling on the floor as "The Brain" tossed the Arkansas State Tag Title Belt to Morgan. As the ref was distracted by the men on the floor, he clobbered Justice but only could get a two count. Mad Money Mike slid in the ring and dropkicked Mr .Muscles clear out of the ring. As Mike checked on Mark, Jason sneaked up from behind to knock MMM out. Mike ducked and "The Brain" bashed Mark Justice with a Money Mayweather Right hook!! After that, Jason slid to the floor to tell Big Dave "See what happens when you mess with N.R.G!!" Dave pulled the glove from "The Brain" and rocks went everywhere. Big Dave yelled it was loaded as Jason retreated to the back with The Natural Born Killers.

The first match of the evening was Blue Ridge's one and only Ray Ray taking on the Crash Test Dummy in a lightweight division match this was a good match which could have possibly been the best match of the evening. The second match of the evening was a Three Way Dance between Shawn Bell, The Bad Boy Tork and Ellijay's very own Dave Diamond. This was a great match for a Three Way Dance. Dave Diamond gets the win at the 12:15 mark when Diamond hits both opponents with Spine Busters.

The following match Was The All-Star tagging with the Black Menace against fan favorite The Scorpion tagging with legend Rock & Roll Express's Ricky Morton ascorted to the ring by Semper Fi Cody Roberts. The fans were getting behing their favorite team by chanting "Rock and Roll" throughout the match. At the eleven minute mark, a melee broke out with all four men in the ring exchanging blows. The Scorpion and The All-Star squared off the middle of the ring while Ricky Morton and The Menace were in the corner dukeing it out. Scorpion and All Star collided heads, knocking each other unconscious. The Menace arranged the scene to make it look as though All-Star had The Scorpiohn pinned. Before the Ref could see the scene, Semper Fi redirected the ref’s attention, slipped in the ring and rearranged the unconscious pair so that it now looked as though Scorpion had The All-Star pinned. Ricky Morton & The Scorpion took the win and the crowd went wild.

The fourth match of the evening was a title match for the DSCW Heavy Weight Title between All -Business Brian Rivers, 2 year reigning champion, accompanied by manager Logan Chase III, against Chip Hazard in a bull-rope match. Fifteen minutes into the match, things started to get out of control. Logan Chase III jumped onto the ring apron and hit Chip Hazard on his back with a tennis racket. River’s capitalized on the opportunity for the win. Promoter, Big Wood, came into the ring and stated that he was tired of Logan interfering with the matches and gave Hazard an opportunity at another shot at the title. He would have to beat Rivers with-in 5 minutes to get that chance at a rematch. As the 5 minute challenge got under way, Rivers got the upper hand and was going to run Hazard into the tennis racket of Logan Chase. Hazard ducked at the last second and Logan knocked out his boy, Rivers. Hazard won the challenge and gets another shot at the Heavy Weight title at the up-coming Valentine’s Vengeance show in Blue Ridge, GA on February 4th.

The Main Event of the evening was also a title match with the win going to the first to 2 out of 3 falls for the Light-Heavy Weight DSCW title. The match was between the current champion, The Messiah Talon Williams against challenger Mr. Showtime. The house was rocking throughout the match with chants of “What Time is it? – SHOWTIME!”. Showtime won the first fall in 1 minute 12 seconds with a small package. The second fall went to the champion at 9 minutes 18 seconds to even the score at 1 – 1. The third and final fall went to the challenger, Mr. Showtime around the 7 minute mark when Talon tapped out to an ankle lock. The crowd jumped to their feet and blew the roof off the building with their cheers and congratulations.

- Longime NWA official Charlie Smith presented the award to Joyce Grable,

- Chattanooga media fixture, and long time News Channel 9 weatherman Bill Race presented the award to Pat Rose.

- ESPN Radio Chattanooga host Nick Bonstanto presented the award to Ricky Morton.

Tune in to "This and That" with Don Welch on Monday 1/23/12, ABC affiliate WTCV News Channel 9 at 12:30 PM for a special look at the ceremony. We will also post the highlights later this week. It was clear that the recognition meant a great deal to each of the legends. Both Rose and Grable were nearly moved to tears stating what the Hall Of Fame distinction meant to them with Rose exclaiming "THIS is MY WWE Hall of Fame!" and Grable stating that "no one knew exactly how much this meant to her". Ricky Morton told all the fans that without them, he wouldn't wouldn't have existed.

As Morton was wrapping up his acceptance speech The Juggernauts crashed the party. Juggernaut #2 stated that yes, the rumors were true...there were two Juggernauts and this was the perfect time for them to debut. It was great that the legends were being honored, but they were the past and The Juggernauts were the future. He said it was time they made their name at Ricky Morton's expense. The two mammoth Juggernauts circled Morton when Jessco Blue came out to make things fair. Morton said he didn't come here for a fight but he was always ready for one and he just so happened to know a thing or two about tag team wrestling , so he proposed that the Juggernauts put their money where their mouths were and face he and Blue in a tag bout. Management saw fit to honor the legend's request on his night and sent a ref to make it official.

Ricky Morton & Jessco Blue defeated The Juggernauts via DQ reverse decision. Juggernaut #1 actually pinned Morton in the match with the aid of the loaded mask. Hall Of Famers Pat Rose and Joyce Grable quickly let the referee know what happened, and official James Rhodes found the foreign object. The Juggernauts attempt at a post match sneak attack was thwarted with Rose and Grable both clocking a masked man, and Morton and Blue topped it off by clearing the ring with the old R'N'R staple, the double dropkick.

Andrew Alexander defeated Jessco Blue ,Kyle Matthews and Bryan Casanova in the 4 Way Match for a shot at ANY title at ANY time after hitting the piledriver on Blue. This was a hard fought contest, but the beating Blue took at the hands of the Juggernauts may have cost him. Matthews appeared to be the favorite in the match, and almost secured victory but Alexander's calculating coniving let Matthews score a victory blow, and tossed him out of the ring and drove the nail home himself. This bout settled one thing...Andrew Alexander will now get a shot at any title of his choice at any time he likes. But the issues, both between Casanova and Blue and Matthews and Alexander are far from solved.

Shaun Tempoers defeated Patrick Bentley in a near 30 minute 2/3 falls contest to settle their rivalry once and for all. This was a true classic style championship bout. They battled back and forth for almost 20 minutes before the first fall was scored, which Tempers did after dropping Bentley ribs first on the steel turnbuckle. There was a 30 second rest period between falls,and Bentley was still unable to rise, so the ref began the count. Tempers continued to pound the obviously injured Bentley, but out of nowhere Bentley was able to level the playing field by hitting the 360 Piledriver and scoring the 2nd fall. This time, both men struggled to reach their feet after the rest period and it was anybodys match. In a true display of how well they'd scouted each other from previous matches, Tempers went for the tiger driver, Bentley blocked it went for the hurricanrana, Tempers countered with the tiger driver for a near fall. Bentley countered the hangman's neckbreaker with a backslide for a 2.9 of his own, and then hit the Spring action kick for a 2.9999. Bentley went to finish it off with the 360 piledriver, but Tempers was able to shoot a last second double leg and cradle for the completely unexpected 3 count.

Tank defeated Se7en via pinfall in a bloody, hard hitting and brutal dog collar match to retain the NWA Southeastern title. This was two of the biggest and baddest men in the NWA laying it all on the line in a blood bath. It started at an even keel, and Tank took over showing his experience advantage in this type of match. Se7en's incredible pain tolerance allowed him to withstand this onslaught though and a clever move of removing his collar and tieing it to the top rope allowed Se7en to come within inches of dethroning the champion, but once Tank was able to break free and create a bionic lariat by wrapping the chain around his arm, and Se7en was unable to kick out after that almost super human blow.

It was announced that the return date for Soddy Daisy Middle School is 2/17/12 will feature a Triple Threat match with all titles on the line featuring NWA Southeastern Champion: Tank, NWA North American Champion: Shaun Tempers, and former NWA Southern Champion: Ace Rockwell. These are three men who's careers and destinies have been intertwined for a decade, but never have the stakes been so high. All close friends at one point, all bitter enemies at another point, all have carved their own paths, and on 2/17/12 only one can emerge victorious.

The turnout is impressive for the event, attendance in the mid to high 90s when 3pm rolls around and more walking in afterwards. Officer Chris Jacobs is out interacting with the fans leading up to the show, conversing and signing autographs.

Rob Adonis (w/ Charlie Cash) vs Jacob Ashworth

Adonis starts off showing his superior size over Ashworth. Not too long into the match Adonis seems to have it won, but continously picks Ashworth up out of pins as to not finish him off too soon, much to the enjoyment of Manager Charlie Cash. When Ashworth finally gains a little momentum, he’s quickly laid out with a devastating Spinbuster and Adonis picks up the win.

CB Gibson comes out to help Ashworth after the match but is also laid out by Adonis. Adonis and Cash celebrate briefly and leave.

Cru Jones vs Anthony Henry

Cru starts the match using his strength to gain the advantage, and promptly showing off his physique afterwards. Henry tries to keep Cru grounded with holds to keep an advantage. The action spills to the outside with Henry trying to vault over the top rope with a crossbody, but Cru catches him and throws him against the apron. Cru gets a humorous reaction from the crowd after saying Henry was trying to make him look back on TV. A lot of back and forth happens and it looks like it could be anybody’s game, but Cru pulls the win with a Pumphandle Fallaway Slam.

Corey Hollis & Patrick Bentley & “Do Or Die” Chip Day vs Anthony Henry & CB Gibson & Jacob Ashworth

Ashworth shows an advantage over the Approved members early on with his size. The patch picks up in pace dramatically after Anthony Henry is tagged in. Approved take control of the match and show how well accustomed they are to 6-Man tag matches as well as clever use of the Rampage Rules, with CB being isolated from his corner. Ashworth hot tags in (with Gibson rolling out) and starts taking control. It quickly turns into everyone storming into the ring. Approved shows the superior teaming ability by isolating each member of the opposing team and finishing off with Jacob Ashworth, using their triple top rope finish.

It’s noteworthy that Sal Rinauro comes out and joins Bill Behrens on commentary between matches.

BFF (“Marvelous” Michael Stevens & “Adorable” Anthony Andrews) vs The Washington Bullets (Jon Williams & Trey Williams)

The fans quickly show support for the Washington Bullets, and only get louder after some humorous double teaming tactics. The match steers from comedy to pure athleticism and the Washington Bullets do not disappoint their unfamiliar crowd. The tide turns when Marv helps Andrews isolate Jon in the ring. Trey hot tags in and takes on both Marv and Andrews. The Bullets take the match by first taking out Andrews with a Wheelburrow and Leg Lariot combination then taking Marv out with a Wheelburrow Legscissors and Shining Wizard.

Shaun Banks vs J-Rod

Referee: Dustin Robinson

The match starts with a fair amount of back and forth with comic relief from Banks. The fans are behind J-Rod as he gains the advantage of the match. Banks ends up using a series of illegal chokes holds using the ropes, ring apron, and even his scarf to a point that Referee Dustin Robinson seemed to be getting impatient and actually snatched the scarf and threw it from the ring. Cru Jones comes to the ring to show some moral support for Banks, but quickly becomes a distraction for J-Rod. J-Rod manages to pin Banks after a knee just to be attacked by Cru after the match.

The Washington Bullets rush at the ring to make the save. Cru and Banks end up leaving, Banks hiding behind the Rampage Pro Wrestling banner on the way out. The Washington Bullets stay to celebrate with J-Rod.

Patrick Bentley vs Frankie Valentine (C)

The match starts off with some good athleticism from both competitors, ultimately culminating into an advantage for Valentine. Valentine holds the advantage with a series of submissions working down the left arm of Bentley. Bentley gains advantage and starts working down Valentine with submissions and takedowns, stopping numerous potential comebacks in their tracks. The match ends with Approved rushing out and attacking Valentine. The Washington Bullets come out to make the save and Referee Dustin Robinson informed Miss Allie that they will have a 6-Man Tag Team Match.

Washington Bullets & Frankie Valentine vs Jimmy Rave Approved

Bullets and Valentine start with the advantage with them isolating Chip Day in the ring. The Bullets show some impressive tag team tactics early on, showcasing again why they’re Georgia’s number 1 tag team. After Valentine is tagged in, Approved briefly gains advantage, which ends with Valentine getting Trey back in the ring. It’s slightly ironic that Approved gains advantage yet again once Valentine becomes the legal man, but this time they successfully isolate him away from his corner. The fans continuously show support for Frankie and just as he seems to start gaining momentum, he’s quickly shut down by Approved. Valentine fights out and hot tags in Jon. The match quickly turns into an all-out brawl between Approved, Valentine, and the Bullets. In the end, the Bullets and Valentine pick up the win with the Wheelburrow Legscissors and Shining Wizard combo on Chip Day.

After the match, Hot Like Lava comes out to cut a promo against the Washington Bullets and goes on to say that the Bullets aren’t on their level with a series of insults. They are interrupted by Doc Gayton who goes on to say that the Bullets can take on Hot Like Lava and goes on to say that they will be having a tag team match against each other on February 12th.

“Marvelous” Michael Stevens (w/ Anthony Andrews) vs Drew Adler

Referee: Stan Robinson

The match starts with Adler getting his hands on Marv’s boas and Andrews’s headband. When they go on to demonstrate how to properly show off their attire, Adler capitalizes on knocking Andrews to the giard rail and quickly starting the match with the advantage over the marvelous one. Andrews doesn’t hesitate to attacking Adler behind a distracted ref when able. Right as Adler is about to pick up a victory, Andrews attacks him to warrant a disqualification.

Almost immediately after the match ends Sal Rinauro rushes in and the 4 start a tag team match by the demand of the crowd.

The match starts aggressive with Sal and Adler holding the early advantage. Sal has a comical and somewhat insulting (for the opponents) offense that does well to entertain the crowd. BFF eventually takes over and isolates Sal from Adler. Adler blind tags in to take advantage for his team. As everything starts to become less chaotic, Referee Stan Robinson gets on to Sal to get out of the ring since he’s the illegal man and Andrews, using the distracted ref, hits Adler with a bucket. Sal pushes the ref aside to come to Adler’s aid and the referee disqualifies him.

BFF wins via disqualification.

Kyle Matthews and the Usual Suspects (Murder One & AJ Steele) defeated Rob Adonis, Jeremy Vain, and Mikael Judas (who turned on them) who were accompanied by Manager Charlie Cash.

Southern Title Match
“Star Quality” Josh Vaughn retained the Southern Title after he pinned Toy Dodson. Toy was first awarded the match then as the Ref raised his hand a chain he used fell out. The ref re started the match and after a few moments of action Josh Vaughn hit the Star Qualified for the win.

Going for the Gold Gauntlet Match
Wandy da Wrestler started the gauntlet with “The Future” Wil Force after a hard hitting match Wandy picked up the victory. Out next was the masked cruiser weight Ricochet, Wandy finished him off with a belly to belly suplex. Third out was the big and powerful new comer Spades, after the first two hard fought battles Spades hard hitting style proved too much for Wandy to overcome and Spades finished him off with a black hole slam. Out last was the little ball of energy Tiffany and some quick offense Spades put her away with the black hole slam to win a future title shot.

Semi Finals for the Action Zone Tag Title Tournament
Honor&Respect and The Mixed Ones put on a classic tag team showcase as both teams showed how come the tag division at TWA is one of the strongest in the area. The end came as all 4 men ended up in the ring fighting and The Mixed Ones go to shot Honor&Respect into each other and are reversed instead and Honor&Respect double school boyed them for the victory and a spot in the finals of the tournament.

Tag Team Match
The Playmakers continue their climb back to tag team greatness as they defeated the young team of Wandy da Wrestler and Jam Styles. The match had a lot of action and the fluid motion of the Playmakers showed why they are always a force to be reckoned with in tag team action.

Semi Finals for the Action Zone Tag Title Tournament
HCP 2.0 came to the ring first and were informed that their opponents for the evening BCX could not compete due to illness and that they were receiving a bye into the finals. Honor&Respect’s music hits and out comes “The One” Joey Idol and “Simply Amazing” Alex Summers, they challenge HCP 2.0 for the finals right now, Board of Director member Gene Johnson comes out and makes the match for right now.

Finals for the Action Zone Tag Titles
HCP 2.0 and Honor&Respect wrestled a very physical match but Honor&Respect were still feeling the effects of the earlier match with the Mixed Ones combined with the outside interference of “The Future” Wil Force lead to HCP 2.0 getting the win and becoming the new Action Zone Tag Team Champions.

Action Zone Title Match Baton on a Pole/No Holds Barred Match
This very violent matchup between Da Bill and “Lion Heart” Ray Fury has been building for the past two months and this match was everything we thought it would be. But after some very close calls in the match Ray Fury was able to counter the DVD into an arm bar and with the help of the baton make Da Bill tap out for the victory. After the match wrestlers came out of the back to celebrate the victory with Ray Fury in the ring.

Revenge was an action filled show with a lot of surprises and twists that has set the tone for 2012 at the all new TWA Action Zone!

and he was a former professional wrestler
in Bill Watts' Universal Wrestling Federation
back in latter stages of 1986,
where he became the company's television champion,
feuding with the likes of Buddy "Jack" Roberts,
"Gentleman" Chris Adams,
The One Man Gang,
"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert
and "Iceman" King Parsons.

NWA ProSouth Wrestling Results from Piedmont, Alabama on 1/20/12

Gene Jackson came out to mock Mark Grason, who he, Outlaw, and Tomb, had sent home in an ambulance last week! Jackson also had two e-mails, one from Terry Batey and the other from NWA representative Brice Anderson. Terry Batey had attempted to get the leader of the EPIC Alliance fired and he succeeded! Much to the dismay of the Piedmont crowd, the NWA considered "Epic" Grant Mitchell as the leader of the EPIC Alliance, not Gene Jackson. "Future Classic" Tyler Gage & "Awesome" Scott Spade came out and Gage started that after talking to Terry Batey, their main event tag match was now for the NWA ProSouth Tag Team Titles and that it would start RIGHT NOW!

Match #1: NWA ProSouth Tag Team Champions "The Prodigy" Daniel Alexander retained their titles against ProSouth Heavyweight Champion "Future Classic" Tyler Gage & "Awesome" Scott Spade
The match started out with a shocking amount of teamwork between Gage & Spade, however Tomb & Daniel managed to isolate Spade and work on his injured left leg. Spade finally made the tag and Gage came in to clean house. A short series of moves later, Spade nailed Daniel Alexander with the Copenhagen Kick and pinned him for the 1-2-3! We have NEW NWA ProSouth Tag Team Champions! As the new champs celebrated, referee Toby Romine walked over and put Daniel's foot on the bottom rope, then informed the new champs that the match had to be restarted due to that fact! Tomb knocked Gage off the apron into the barricade and lifted Spade into the air! Daniel flew through the air connecting with a brutal clothesline to complete the Doomsday Device and pick up the pin!

Post-match however Tomb & Daniel weren't done, they flew Spade into the barricade, Tomb gave him a Chocolate Avalanche, and Daniel hit him with the Sidewinder on the floor of the arena. Spade was carried out by referees and looked to be injured.

Match #2: The undefeated Dakota Outlaw w/Gene Jackson destroyed newcomer Eli Daniels
Newcomer Eli Daniels looked to make an insta-name for himself here in NWA ProSouth by defeating the undefeated Dakota Outlaw! Stiff kicks and a fiery heart gave Eli an early advantage but a missed moonsault finished the rookie off as Outlaw decimated him with the Black Hole Slam immediately afterwards! The undefeated streak of Gene Jackson's Dakota Outlaw continues!

Match #3: Frankie "So Fine" Valentine got the victory in an incredible match with "Independent Standout" Jeremy Flynt
This match was very important for both men, this was Valentine's second match back, and it was Flynt's first match at NWA ProSouth in almost two years! Both men wanted a win desperately here and you could tell! Determination would decide the winner in this battle! Valentine countered Flynt and planted him with his finishing Codebreaker variation!

Gene Jackson came to the ring and called out Terry Batey! Terry Batey came to the ring and it was time to answer the challenge! After a little bit of verbal warfare, Terry Batey agreed to the challenge on the conditions that if Dakota Outlaw lost, Gene Jackson would surrender the briefcase! Jackson wanted to know who Terry Batey's mystery man would be, but Terry Batey, with a sly smirk, told Jackson that he would have to wait until next week!

Main Event: Total Justice ("Future Classic" Tyler Gage, "The Last Hero" Ace Haven, & "Stinger" Shawn Seagle) defeated The EPIC Alliance (Dakota Outlaw, "The Prodigy" Daniel Alexander, & Big Tomb)
Total Justice hit the ring with angry in their eyes over the injury of Scott Spade! As the six men brawled in the ring, the Alliance eventually decided to take a walk and that it was better to live to fight another day, however they were met with dives from each member of Total Justice! As Ace Haven & Tyler Gage rolled back into the ring, they realized that their referee for the match was the traitor, Toby Romine! Romine was crushed with a Russian Leg Sweep/STO combo and a new referee was sent to the ring! The Alliance started pounding on Shawn Seagle until Seagle managed to duck away from Daniel Alexander and make the tag to Ace Haven! Ace came in, leveling Daniel with a series of moves before being attacked by Big Tomb behind the referee's back! The Alliance now took their time working over "The Last Hero"! Ace finally hit his Corkscrew Senton on Daniel, buying himself some time to recover and make the tag to Tyler Gage! Gage came in, nailing Big Tomb with vicious strikes but a countered crossbody left Gage backfirst on the mat! Seagle broke up the pin and chaos ensued! Total Justice picked up the win with a tag combo from Ace Haven & Tyler Gage!

Post-match, Brian Alexander attacked Tyler Gage and leveled him with a Powerbomb! The lights went out, and Brandon Collum was in the ring! Collum destroyed everybody in his path before Brian threw a Clothesline, Collum ducked and Brian was met with a Spinbuster from Tyler Gage! For the first time in months, Total Justice was left standing in the ring and the EPIC Alliance was the ones left on the ground!

Divas want a ladder match

The February 2012 issue of WWE Magazine features an interview with Natalya and Beth Phoenix and they are both asked which male-dominated stipulation match they would like to see introduced to the Divas Division. Both say Ladder Match.

"I want to compete in the first-ever Diva Ladder Match. Beth and I think it would be amazing, and I believe we could really pull it off," Natalya says.

Beth adds, "I actually like to consider myself a pioneer for the ladies' Ladder Match because if you check out Ladder Matches 2: Crash and Burn, it actually features my Ladder Match from Louisville, Kentucky, in OVW. I have been campaigning for WWE to let me compete in one and have even volunteered to put my Divas Championship on the line in it against absolutely anybody. I have the experience and truly believe the bar could be raised with that bout. There is no doubt in my mind that it would be the most spectacular Divas match of all-time."

Balls Mahoney Pulled From Event & Stripped of Title

The official Facebook page of the Orlando, Florida based independent wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling Xtreme announced Thursday that due to personal issues, they had no choice but to remove Balls Mahoney from upcoming events and strip him of the title he has been defending for close to a year.
A moderator of the page then wrote Saturday, "Has anyone found Balls Mahoney's last tooth yet? Rumor has it he put it under his pillow in the tent he's been sleeping in for the tooth fairy to drop off a dollar so he could get some Crystal Meth.."

Another page moderator added that while Mahoney had never pulled a no-show, they had too many issues with the former ECW star to continue working with him.

William Regal Wants A World Title Shot

William Regal wants former protégé Daniel Bryan to grant him a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.

He tweeted Sunday, "I've never asked Daniel Bryan for anything for my help and guidance over the years. So now perhaps it's time. I still want to be the first English World Champion. I would like Daniel Bryan to grant me a title shot. WWE pay attention."

Regal then stated in response to those who doubt his ability: "It seems as though a lot of people think the same. One thing though, I don't deserve a title shot, but I want one. Some People think I'm not up to it. people have been counting me out for years but I can still wrestle as good as ANYONE in the world."

Regal faced Bryan in his last WWE match, which took place at the November 8, 2011 WWE Superstars taping in Liverpool, England. Regal's last match on a top-tier show was also against Bryan, on the December 20, 2011 RAW

Brutus Beefcake had a twenty minute interview with IMetAWrestler.com where he talked about Linda Hogan, Hulk's feelings about TNA and whether or not he'll be in the WWE Hall of Fame.

On Hulk Hogan's feelings about TNA: "He was trying to help them. In my opinion, they seemed to want to make a difference at first, but then it seemed like they just didn't want to win. Hulk's a guy who wants to make a difference and wants to win, you know? And once he realized that they didn't want to win, and all they want to do is make an event and have a little piece of the little corner of the market and be satisfied with that, he's just had to say "Okay, if that's what you want then that's what you're gonna get." It doesn't look good, but I wish him the best."

On the difference between his generation and today's wrestlers: "It's more like an assembly line, they're turning out wrestlers like rubber stamps out of a mold, and that's not how we were all made. It just made that difference. People had their own personalities, guys were able to differentiate, and everybody was their own person. Scripts weren't handed out before the shows, people weren't told what to say, told what to do, told how to wrestle, told how to talk, told how to walk, told what they were supposed to look like and how to comb their hair. There was none of that. Everyone was an individual, everyone was drawing on their own personal skills and knowledge, and everything was genuine."

On Linda Hogan's allegations: "It's really sad. I've known Linda a long time and it's really sad. You know, I'm not a hater, Hulk's not a hater, he doesn't hate his ex-wife. He wants to move on with his life, and for her to come forward with these ridiculous allegations that he had beat her up and things like that, you know, after several years of the divorce and all the trials and the transcripts, there's never been a mention of anything. There's never been a phone call to the police, never been a report of a bruise or anything, and for her to come forward now and say that he abused her, and then to come forward and say that he was a homo with his best friend Brutus who he grew up with, is so ridiculous. Anyone who knows us, knows that it's so ridiculous that it's not even remotely believable. It's such a shame that she had to stoop, she got money and she should just go away."

On whether or not he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year: "I hope so. I'm not really sure why Vince hasn't done it. They've called me for different things beyond the internet, for their Wrestlemania, they've put me in their magazines, so I'm not really sure what problems may be between us. But you know, he's always taken back everybody else whose really done some dastardly things to him, and I can't understand for the life of me why he wouldn't wanna put me in the Hall of Fame."

On working out over the years: "I started working out nearly forty years ago with The Hulkster down in Florida, back when I was a teenager. Hulk and I have been training together throughout all these years... and that discipline of steel, you might call it, meant we always made it to the gym. We put the gym first, before going to the bar, before going out, chasing girls or any of that stuff. We always put that time in the gym first."

Tully Blanchard, one of the cogs of the 4 Horsemen, was on Busted Open with Doug Mortman and Dave LaGreca on Sirius XM Radio, which you can hear every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2-4 ET on Sirius 94, XM 208. Here are highlights from the interview:

Why Barry Windham was chosen over other members for the Hall of Fame: "The most dynamic group that we had was with Barry. You had more guys that could perform with more opponents. Big, small, all sizes and that was the most powerful group we had. Lex Luger was an addition. He was just coming in to work for Crockett as Ole was on his way out. So it was a place to put Luger to try to get him instantly to a star status since he had such a great look and it worked and it worked for quite a while. But when we switched him to babyface and Barry came back as a heel you had 4 guys that who could perform with Andre the Giant or the Rock and Roll Express or The Road Warriors. We could go out with all shapes and sizes and go out and tear the house down, and that is where your dynamics and your benefit for your promotion came."

On Triple H possibly inducting the 4 Horsemen: "He just shared with me in brief that he watched and appreciated everything we did, not just we, but he was talking about me specifically. Before he got into wrestling or at the start of his career, as he went in, if that is what he watched and that is what he molded himself after, then he would have a great amount of input on how the images of the 4 Horsemen blended together and affected him."

His thoughts on JJ Dillon: "JJ is definitely one of the finest managers in my opinion, if not the best manager that the wrestling business has ever had, and I have known some good ones. But a lot of the very good ones were fighting for center stage with talent many times, and JJ never did that. He complemented everything that was done and not taking away from what the guy was doing in the ring or what the guys were doing in the ring. That made it very, very simple to go out and perform, just like you're out there by yourself or in a tag team match and JJ could put the gas to the fire when you needed it."

What he expects the night of the Hall of Fame: "Right now the biggest honor is to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, in the wrestling business. There will be twenty thousand people at the American Airlines Center that Saturday night watching it. If I am still on this earth, I'll be there, and I'm planning on having my four children there with me. They were born after my wrestling career and they have not really grabbed hold of the fact of what I used to do. With the magnitude of this setting and with Wrestlemania and Saturday night and Fan Axxess. My children have never seen me in that big of a setting. They have been in a couple of autograph settings with me, but this is going to be a little eye opening for them."

Hello everyone and welcome back to my latest wrestling blog here on the T-Bone Effect. This has been an interesting couple of months watching what has unfolded with the Athletic Commission here in Arkansas. There was some confusion as who was shutting down and who wasn't. I've been told that it was only four weekly promotions in the State. I'm not entirely sure who is down and who isn't.

I am disappaointed in some of them for not paying the fees required to operate. I'm not saying that it's right what they charge but it's the law. Promoters that I know where unaffected were Traditional Championship Wrestling and Magic of Wrestling. Both companies complied with the Athletic Commissions rules and regulations. I am glad to see that some promotions were able to comply.

I have seen some workers voicing their opinions about the Athletic Commision and defending some promotions. I'm not going to downgrade them for defending their home promotion. I will however say why would you be concerned with the fees involved beyond your license fee? Its not like your having to pay the $50 event fee, $5000 surety bond, insurance, or the 5-10% door fee. The promoter is the one responsible for these fees.

The promoter is responsible for those fees, responsible for knowing the rules and regulations of the Athletic Commission, and making sure your licensed as well before performing. The promoter is the only one to blame for you having no place to work. I understand times are tough and they are I know, but if it was not financially sound for them to run every week because of the cost, why not cut back? Weekly shows in the same location are becoming a thing of the past especially when it's the same crew weeks after week.

Not saying that it's because they may be bad but in the eyes of the fans you loose your appeal when your seen every week. If you were to see The Rock every week for 52 weeks a year he would lose his appeal, right? Right. Don't give me this bologna, "Well the WWE can do it!" that's because they are in different venues every week and not the same place.

I don't like having to pay for an Announcers license considering I am not a competitor or official. However, it's the rules and if you want to work, as an any job, you must follow the rules. The Atheletic Commission has scheduled a public meeting on Feburary 9th at 11:00am at 6325 Baseline Rd, Little Rock, AR at the Dee Brown Library. Remember if you go, don't think because you show up they will let you speak. If you want to voice your opinion you must be put on the agenda.

Now that that's out of the way, I want to formally congratulate Big Dave on his win as WrestlingNewsCenter.com's Announcer of the Year Award. Some people were voicing their concerns on how the voting was stuffed with votes from a certain promotion, wait isn't that what you do in every poll you participate in? Try to get as many votes for your favorite? Anyways congrats Big Dave and good luck next year.

I will be taking a hiatus from wrestling until further notice why I take care of my personal life. Between my job, wrestling, and other jobs I ran my self ragged. Those of you who know me on a personal level probably know I'm a God fearing man and believe that Christ died for me and my sins on the cross. I gave my life to Christ when I was 11 years old. Unfortunately between my parents divorcing and struggling financially for five years I got lost from God's flock. I cursed, sinned, and kept pushing him away. I finally tripped over myself in doing my own will that I finally got a wake up call. I have changed my life to put him first now and not the material possessions. So for the time being I am turning off the microphone and leaving the announce desk until further notice. So that I can take a closer walk with God. I will continue to update my blog every once and a while as I can. I want to thank everyone who has ever supported me and lifted me up.

On a last note if your going thru that trial in your life I hope this helps.

God reminded me that no matter the trial, he's walking thru it with me. There to comfort and aide me. It's never easy. He may open one door for everyone he closes that doesnt mean we won't walk thru hell to our next door.

The first episode of the Jimmy Blaylock Show was taped at the beginning of the EPW event. I will not go into any detail, since Blaylock has already posted it here at WNC.

Soultaker w/Raja defeated EPW newcomer Matt Harvard.

JR Mauler defeated Aaron Hart. After the match Kross and JR beat Hart down. "Dangerous" Doug Gilbert in to make the save.

PHAT Foundation (Justin Rhodes/Chris Fontaine) w/Raja defeated Buzz Harley & Chazz Stone due to interference by Raja.

Hollywood Jimmy Blaylock came to the ring and called out Doug Gilbert. Gilbert came to the ring and was attacked by JR Mauler & Kross, who beat him down. Help arrived for Gilbert from the back and JR & Kross hastily retreated. Gilbert said he and his partner, "Superstar" Bill Dundee, wanted a match with 24/7 at the next EPW show, anything goes, falls count anywhere. EPW Promoter Edith Poole immediately ordered the match to take place. Gilbert also said he was bringing Tommy Gilbert with him.

Main event: Bonecrusher & Cassanova Kid w/Antoin Smooth defeated The Cowboys (Ricky Murdock/Big Nasty Bill) w/Hollywood Jimmy to win the EPW Tag Team belts. During the match Bonecrusher went to the outside and pounded Hollywood. Hollywood put a $25,000 bounty on Bonecrusher - anyone who ends Bonecrusher's career gets the money. The ring was immediately surrounded by Hollywood Clique members who wanted to collect the bounty - but Bonecrusher & Cassanova Kid won the match and the belts.

The card for this Saturday night in Booneville will include "Dangerous" Doug Gilbert and Bill "Superstar" Dundee teaming up to take on 24/7 (Kross/JR Mauler) in an ANYTHING GOES match. Falls count anywhere! NO RULES! Tommy Gilbert at ringside!

Also, another edition of The Jimmy Blaylock Show will be taped at EPW this Saturday night. Who can even imagine what foolishness Blaylock has in mind this week!

In a shocking turn of events, new PWO Commissioner Justin LaBar has stated he is demanding Marion Fontaine appear in his office this week for a one-on-one chat and he has even invited our television cameras as well! The bad blood between LaBar & Fontaine is one of the most well-documented rivalries in PWO history, and now with LaBar as Fontaine’s boss, the tension is sure to only continue to climb. After LaBar suspended Fontaine’s heavy, Brodie Lee, what further repercussions could be on the way for PWO’s “Megastar”?

“The Handicapped Hero” of PWO, Gregory Iron, challenged Gory for the TV Title once before, however a severely sprained ankle suffered by Greg during an attack by Gory & the rest of The Dead Wrestling Society left Greg physically unable to extract revenge for the demise of his best friend and tag team partner Hobo Joe. Daffney vs. TNA update

We noted yesterday here on the website that Shannon Spruill (a/k/a Daffney) says she is proceeding with her workers' compensation claim against TNA Wrestling stemming from injuries she sustained while working for the organization in 2009 and 2010.
"Great day today. Just wanted to let everybody know that the Workers' Comp Claim is going well. Although it's been a long road, I continue to keep my head up. Hoping for some good results," she tweeted Tuesday.

Spruill stated last March immediately following her departure from TNA Wrestling that she had filed a workers' compensation claim against the organization. There were issues between Spruill and management regarding her medical expenses being covered after she suffered a concussion taking a bump through a board covered with barbed wire at the October 18, 2009 pay-per-view event Bound for Glory.

Creative writer Vince Russo and former Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor pressured Spruill into performing the spot, reasoning that it was important for the ongoing feud between Abyss and Mick Foley. Spruill, who was hesitant on the idea, was assured that she would be fine. She suffered a concussion taking the maneuver and was taken to an Orlando, Florida area hospital via ambulance. Spike TV wouldn't allow TNA to air the spot during the following episode of iMPACT! due to their policy on men-on-women violence.

Spruill's emergency room visit resulted in a substantial medical bill, which Taylor stalled TNA from paying and ultimately was not. She also claimed she was pressured to continue performing after suffering two additional concussions. She suffered a concussion after being hit on the head with a toolbox by Tara following their match on the February 18, 2010 episode of iMPACT!. On April 20, 2010, she was injured in a dark match against an obese inexperienced worker named Miss Betsy and was taken to an Orlando area hospital, where she was diagnosed with a concussion, as well as a deeply bruised sternum and a severe stinger.

Today marks WWE Hall of Famer Howard "The Fink" Finkel's 35th year as a ring announcer. Finkel has an article up on WWE.com looking at his career. Below is an excerpt: "You know, I am constantly asked what stands out as my most memorable ring announcing moment through the years. There are so many of them that it's always been hard to isolate on just one. However, thanks to CM Punk, he was instrumental in creating a very special moment for me. I had the pleasure of introducing him last November at Survivor Series, in the place where it all started – Madison Square Garden. And when I was introduced, the reception I received was very nice. But then all of a sudden the Garden faithful started chanting my name, and that moved me to tears. It was like I had come full circle; they were not only welcoming me back, but saying thank you as well.

But I also say thanks to all of you, who with your support have allowed me to continue to live a dream that today hits the 35-year mark. And thinking of that slogan "life begins at forty," rest assured I hope to accomplish that milestone from a ring announcing standpoint as well!"
